Can i install this mod without rooting my device?
i dont want to root because i dont want to stop getting OTA updates. and i believe that stock way is the most stable way incase of lag and battery.
Is there any ROM that will give me more?

Of course not since you are attempting to alter system files.
Not having OTAs anymore is the least problem one has with rooting in my opinion as they can still be done manually and are way overrated anyway. However, not being able to use certain payment systems or banking apps anymore might be a slightly greater one depending on the personal use as it is not reversible due to the retarded KNOX status.
Since rooting doesn't really change much of the rom, I don't see where the potential instability shall come from either. Most issues are pure placebos, well done, Samsung.

Can you suggest me a ROM for my S8 which will have the smoothest and battery efficient. which have all the mods and all. I know different people have different taste but i just want to know an opinion.
i was a geek of XDA before during my college and university days. i used to flash and try rom everyday. Now lack of time and banking job doesnt allow me to do that much.
i used to root my phones the moment i buy it but this s8 i have used for a yr now and now it got me. Its to be rooted.
do we have android 9.0 roms?
P.s i dont like stock android roms.

I'm running AOSP/Lineage on the S7 Edge and the camera really feels limited.
Are there any debloated 3rd party roms other than Samsung stock that are "Siamsung Experience / OneUI" based, or do I have to really try to root/Magisk stock?

Sadly this is next to impossible, S9 changed how a lot of things work internally, so it is unlikely we'll ever get any of the S9 stock camera perks.
I'll add it to my to-do list for future updates. No idea if it'll ever happen though.
nope, it requires modifying system files which are impossible to modify using ADB
I've tried forcing 4k for hyperlapse in the past and it just resulted in videos that are marked as hyperlapse but played at 1x speed. I'll see if I can get it to work but it is unlikely
I saw that maybe : other timelapse apps let me choose 4k but I end up with 1080p.. Though as they say "if there is a will, there is a way"

After installation, does the camera interface change? I don't want to lose the 9.0 camera interface
Please, we need this mod also on Note 9. even if that misserable camera app , camera_v9 on the note 9 has no video in pro mode, we need at least the QHD 60 FPS option, and the options for jpeg compression, and video bitrate.

OMG, this mod is TOTALLY AWESOME! I bought an international Note 8 on eBay for the sole purpose of rooting it and tweaking it to my personal specifications. I have the awesome hadesROM installed on it and enjoying Pie and S10+ features. I was getting very disgusted with camera and video quality on the Note 8 and decided to see if 4K recording was possible on it. Long story short, I was led to this forum and I'm in total awe. Recording in 4K is a joy and I'm so happy that I can improve video quality for my YouTube channel without spending a heap load of money on a DSLR or mirrorless SLR. I was "this" close to purchasing a Samsung NX1 for 4K video shooting until I discovered this forum. Thank you so much to the developers of this mod. I still have a lot more to learn on the capabilities of my phone!

Try to clean data and cache for camera and shootingmodeprovider which is a system app so first make sure to show system apps in the app menu.
Can I use this app side by side with stock camera app? I replace the stock app. How to get it back?
