Thanks! Yes I do not have Magisk installed. Could you please add the link to it here?
That's the official Magisk thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Magisk gives you root access to your device and the possibility to flash zips like the one provided in this thread (Magisk “Modules”), while passing SafetyNet (so you can use some apps like Pokémon GO or download Netflix from the Play Store). The Magisk zip provided in the thread linked above must be flashed in a custom recovery like TWRP.

I hope you already have a custom recovery, or at least an unlocked bootloader, because unlocking the bootloader now would erase all the data on the device.
But even when you haven’t done that yet, I’d say it’s worth it in the future, because then you can do full backups of your device, flash zips like Magisk and even flash custom ROMs (for a current Android OS when your OnePlus device isn't officially supported anymore or you just want some more features).

You can't learn without making mistakes.
Thanks for the help ...(MOD Edit: Sentence partially deleted due to language)

Sorry but I never had any experience with magisk module. Can you tell me the steps? Or provide link to a post where the steps are described?
You can either flash it via TWRP, or you can also flash it via Magisk Manager.

For Magisk Manager,
Go to Modules, press the Floating + Button & choose the zip file. It will flash it and all you need to do is just reboot.
