Thanks for the V9. That's the only version that works with android 10.

I'm on Paranoid Android and this mod only slightly played music via the earpiece, which is fine.

The real MVP is the ViperFA. Just amazing when tuned correctly.

I only installed ViperFA first, reboot, and then Stereo MOD. I tried installing them all (all 4 which you provided) and I had no audio.

I hope the link for v9 stays on here! I can't find it anywhere.

Will this work on a Custom ROM (Android 10)? In case if it fails will it hamper my system or can be easily disabled ? Also any change in the battery consumption?

For whathever on oxygen os this doesnt work anymore but i tried to install the dualspeaker 6t mod and it works just fine!

This should work on custom roms, and can be easily disabled in magisk. Minimal change in battery consumption.
Even if it fails to work, you can use my script to patch your own mixer.

V9 (few pages back) works, installed AML then V4A 2.7 and V9 on OOS 10.3.2.

Can you tell how did you install it? Please i need that.

I was using a kernel app to increase the earpiece volume to boost the volume during phone calls, but I saw a lot of distortion when I just increased a little. So now my question is - As I am seeing that the ear piece speaker can in fact play music at relatively higher volume with your mod, can I somehow use this technique to increase the call volume without distortion?

Please someone can help me? What is the correct order to install AML+ Viper + Stereo V9? And how to install it? Because there's a lot of ways installing Viper and then disabling AML, but i have seen in some screenshots that they have installed and enabled AML + Viper + Stereo. Thanks.

Yes you can get a boost in call volume by increasing the DEC Volume values.

Tried your modified mixer, didn't do anything as far as I can tell though. Still only getting sound from the lower speaker, no earpiece. Are there possibly other mixer_path files that need to be patched, or is this patch just not working?

Thanks, but I am really not sure which DEC section to modify as there are multiple ones

1 - is it the same value that gets modified by the kernel's sound module ?
2 - Can you may be help me with a magisk module which is already modified as it is has multiple DEC sections and I am really not sure?
3 - Where do I copy the modified XML file and under what name and properties?
4 - How can I use both, kernel sound tweaks along with your stereo mod? I see users have multiple ways of doing this.

Tried V10 on my OnePlus 6, works, but only in certain apps. For example, I get audio from both speakers in YouTube music, but only 1 speaker as if there was no mod at all in Spotify.

I'm pretty sure v10 breaks AML compatibility. V4A always stops working after using and disconnecting bluetooth speakers/headphones, which is probably due to conflict with Dirac (sound mod built into the OP6). When this happens, I have to force stop V4A, clear cache, and only then V4A kicks in for the phone speakers again.

I'm back to v9 for know, let's hope for a fix. Also, any plans for supporting A11 when it comes out for the OP6?

Haven’t used the OnePlus 6 for a while, but have started to use it again. Tried this mod again and my experience are these:

Versions below 8 not tested.

V8: does not work on latest 10.5.3
V9: Works fine, but audio gain settings in EX Manager does not stick. It resets to +4.
V10: Works, audio gain in EX Manager sticks, bit there is quite a bit of latency between the two speakers. Too much reverberation, sounds like the sound is in a large hall.

I am on latest Oxygen 10.5.3, with latest ElementalX kernel + Viper4Android.

I've been searching but cannot find a defined set of instructions that tell me the sequence to flash V4A, AML, Sauron and dual speaker. If anyone knows the correct sequence, please share it. I've boot-looped my phone once now and I don't fancy doing it again.
