Reporting back from v9 :

WiFi looks stable, no more reboot necessary ! Unfortunately, I ran into another problem, went to visit my cousin in London this weekend and I had to uninstall the module to detect his wifi! I with the mod on , on OP5 OB16 , I could only detect 5 or so SSID against 25-30 mod deleted!

I forgot to check frequencies though, sorry !

EDIT: Module v9 from OP still corrupted for me

Had the same problem, changed the preferred setting to 0.
Seems like putting this on 2 (5ghz) only shows the 5ghz channels anymore.

Ok guys, in the next update, I will change the preferred band setting to 0 again if some of you have issues with it. I'll do this today :)
That'll be great. I just flashed the latest version of the mod (realized I was on an older version) and couldn't connect to any Wi-Fi network (saved, or new). Had to change the preferred band to 0 manually to fix it.

Very interesting that this one single value is the reason for this issue. Nevertheless, here's the update, with the band set to 0 again.

one thing I notice with wireless display using miracast device ... it is disconnecting all the time ... soon I disable this mode it start working ok.

I'm using it often mirroring screen of my phone to Pioneer HU in my car...

Nice to hear! :) But AOSP Roms shouldn't have any issues anyways.
Can you tell me which line/value was changed? I'd like to compare it with the stock (.ini) file to see.. Coz I experienced Wi-Fi notification delays with several kernels and with stock kernel all seems fine so far..

Is it possible to use this on Pie custom ROM?
As reported by someone, it works on Resurrection Remix, but I tried it on Codename Phoenix, and Wifi didn't work. I created an additional version for this, which I will post later.

Compared to what? Stock OOS or "stock" AOSP?
