Situation on OOS Pie

Since we received OOS Pie today for our device, here's a little status update about this mod:

It seems that not every version of my mod works on Pie. Surprisingly, the mods based the AOSP Oreo file seem to work, but not the AOSP Pie files, however, the CNP file works, too.
So for now, only v5 of my mod and my dedicated CNP version work on OOS Pie (OB22).

Who wants to have a stock-based mod, I also did one! It's attached here and in the OP, as always.

Thanks for the update! Just to clarify...
  • v5 = Based on AOSP Oreo = Can be used on OOS OB22
  • v9, v10, v10.1 = Based on AOSP Pie = Cannot be used on OOS OB22
  • v13 = Based on CNP Pie = Can be used on OOS OB22
  • v14 = Based on OOS OB Pie = Can be used on OOS OB22
..yes?

Stock based mod? How's this one differ from previous version? Also are you running OOS pie?

Small update:

g_enable_packet_filter_bitmap was enabled again, which I didn't noticed yesterday. I'm not sure if it still causes delayed notifications as on OOS Oreo, but I disabled it in this update, please test it!
Is this usable in CNP Pie or is the CNP variant still the only one that doesn't break it?

Sorry, I'm a little bit confused.
I'm using custom ROM (Xtended Pie, based on AOSP).
Is it okay to flash version 14.1 of this mod (OOS) or should I flash an "older" version based on AOSP?
I switched to OOS 9.0.1 Pie with francokernel 41, which mod is recommended, the 5 stable or 14. thank you
14.1 is good to go.

Update!

So, I did a few of research by comparing different WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini files.
I checked the

  • taimen (Pixel 2XL) android-8.1.0_r60 tagged
  • taimen android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
  • crosshatch (Pixel 3XL) android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
  • stock Codename Phoenix Rom (for OnePlus 5)
  • and stock OOS 9.0.3
files.

Both Pixel's Pie files lead to a non-working Wifi (it can't be turned on). The other files work. So I decided to perform a merge for the new update, as the stock taimen android-8.1.0_r60 tagged file works on OOS and the stock OOS file works on AOSP. So what I did is to take the AOSP Oreo file as base and compared it to the stock OOS files - I included missing lines and additionally changed some values here and there as on previous releases.

So here we go, here you can get the v15 update: Pixel2_WiFi_MOD_v15.zip
or attached here
or attached in the OP, as always. Enjoy!
