Update!

So, I did a few of research. I compared some different WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini files.
I checked the

  • taimen (Pixel 2XL) android-8.1.0_r60 tagged
  • taimen android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
  • crosshatch (Pixel 3XL) android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
  • stock Codename Phoenix Rom
  • and stock OOS 9.0.3
Work perfectly on the latest OOS Beta 26 ;):fingers-crossed:

Thanks mate

Update!

So, I did a few of research. I compared some different WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini files.
I checked the

taimen (Pixel 2XL) android-8.1.0_r60 tagged
taimen android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
crosshatch (Pixel 3XL) android-9.0.0_r33 tagged
stock Codename Phoenix Rom
and stock OOS 9.0.3

files.

Both Pixel's Pie files lead to a non-working Wifi (it can't be turned on). The other files work. So I decided to perform a merge for the new update, as the stock taimen android-8.1.0_r60 tagged file works on OOS and the stock OOS file works on AOSP. So what I did is to take the AOSP Oreo file as base and compared it to the stock OOS files - I included missing lines and additionally changed some values here and there as on previous releases.

So here we go, here you can get the v15 update: Pixel2_WiFi_MOD_v15.zip
or attached here
or attached in the OP, as always. Enjoy!
Will this work for Oreo since I still on OOS 5.1.3, and I didn't see "Pie" word on the zip?

Hm that's strange. And you're sure this is caused by my module and nothing else?
lol, be honest i could only answer that if i would clean flash my device and start to troubleshoot my setup.
facts atm :
running that os from jan 15 , with affinity.

i flashed your Module and in afternoon happened twice .
i removed it works as it should.

thats all atm

Yeah I see. Difficult to tell what's the problem, it works normally for me.

Affinity kernel already has the pixel 2 wifi mod. You need not to flash again.

After using this v15 Module, seems like the Wifi receiver getting better. Tested at my Office which has the modem placed far away from my room.
Usually I had to switch to mobile data for using internet on my phone. Gonna test abit more.
Oneplus 5 on xXx ROM OOS 5.1.3 Oreo
Thanks alot,Dev.
