Finally got it working, at first I thought it was a Magisk or Xposed issue son I reverted Magisk to 16.3 and uninstalled Xposed but get the same result... I didn't want to make a clean flash so I started to debug V4 and fortunately I found the culprit at the second change between V3 and V4 (line 82 WmmIsEnabled) I change from 1 to 0 and voilà, so I think it was and issue with my modem/router maybe doesn't support that (actually are very old maybe it's time to change it)

Btw: How is Codename Phoenix Rom? :)
I've been on CNP since it was launched. One of the main reasons for going for it was because Portrait Mode works with OOS Camera in it (thanks to the excellent work done by @siankatabg). Even though I use Google Camera Mod for my day-to-day pictures (because of it's superior HDR+), there are always those rare occassions when it can screw up/force close.

Yes, CNP is closed source and isn't overloaded with features, but that's fine with me. It is damn quick for me, has pretty much everything I need (feature-wise) and I haven't encountered any bugs (at least with the latest build). I'm planning to stick to it for the time being (if I can manage to keep my flashaholic instincts in check, that is :p).

P.S. - No matter what ROM I use, I always accompany it with your Soilworks governor tweaks, so thanks a bunch for them! Still using them, till date. Just switched to RenderFlash and now the script is applying EAS specific values. Gonna run it for a while to see how different are the results for me as compared to HMP. :)

Nice to hear that CNP is working well! :)
And yeah, my experience is that battery life with HMP kernels is much better than on EAS kernels. But results differ, as for example @Mostafa Wael has the complete opposite result, so I'm curious how your results will be :)

Yep, my active drain rate on EAS is lower by around 1-2%/hr. It really differs greatly from one user to the other. But, my phone is much smoother with EAS-based RenderZenith kernel installed than with stock kernel. That's becoming more of a fact than a personal opinion as time passes. :good:

Well, till now, my results seem to be on similar lines as your experience. The phone definitely seems just a tad bit smoother/quicker but the active drain is slightly higher for me (by roughly ~1%); the idle drain, however, is the complete opposite. It's lower for me as compared to what I used to get with HMP. It's currently hovering around ~0.5% when it used to hover around ~0.9% for me, on an average. I'm comparing Soilworks HMP v/s Soilworks EAS, basically.

However, these observations are just from half a day's of usage. I'll wait for a couple of complete cycles of the next few days and then see. :)

Yes, that's right for sure. It's incredible smooth and much smoother than HMP kernels:good:

Interesting! For me, active drains on EAS are about 2%/h higher and idle drains are about the same. But therefore, smoothness is incredible good!

WIFI mode works great for me. Thank you for that.

Is it possible to do same thing for BT? Pixel 2 BT Mod?
I have issues with BT streaming on OP5 from moment Oreo update come out - but not on all devices just in my cars, and lots of other people are reporting same thing.

Oh, I don't know tbh, but I doubt that this is possible.

Can you tell me which of the popular kernels are HMP? All which aren't EAS? :p

Do you use some AKT profiles or just kernel with default settings?
