It seems that you're the only one with this issue...
I used magisk v16.7 beta and it worked ...dont know what is prob in v16
Worked for me both with v16 and v16.7....but anyways, the main thing is that it's working now:good:

I ended up with the same problem with the wifi dying after a few hours of deep sleep !
Tried everything I could think of and collected the logs ! I am using v7 .
I took a quick glance through the logs and it seems like everything works fine on the outside, it even finds the available SSIDs around, it just refuses to stay enabled !
Anyway, the logs would probably be more useful than my two cents on the matter
Engineer mode was a dead end (to solve the issue myself, you just might !)
I ended up with the same problem with the wifi dying after a few hours of deep sleep !

I also have same error when i leave the phone overnight .. morning i cant turn on wifi so need to restart phone and then ok...using oxygenos ob14 hereHey,

Ok, so unfortunately, the logs I got haven't told me anything about the issues some of you had. So I decided to revert the Pie changes, but I kept the other Oreo files of the Pixel 2XL in /vendor/etc/wifi, except the wpa_supplicant_wcn.conf file, which I removed again after I added it in v7. If anyone is interested, you can track the changes I made at Github as always.
Especially the people who had some issues, please try this and report back! But hopefully this fixes the issues

So, today I had the same issue which some of you guys reported already for the first time: Wifi didn't turn on anymore. As I don't know for sure what the problem is, I decided to remove all other files again except the WCNSS file. Therefore, I re-added the Pie changes of the WCNSS Pixel 2 XL file. So please, don't flash v8, just try v9 As this is still experimental due to the Pie changes, try v5 if you really want a stable mod
