No probs, so first after flashing the OPFEEDLAUNCHER 4.0.0 version in Magisk use your Root File Xplorer to navigate to DATA > ADB > MODULES > OPFEEDLAUNCHER It's supposed to have 3 folders and 3 files like the screenshot but it will only have one. So what I do is go back to wherever the zip is stored and unzip it. Copy the 5 missing items and paste them to where their missing in Data > ADB > Modules > OPFEEDLAUNCHER. Then I uninstall my stock OPLauncher2 manually with the one from the zip. Yes you have to actually delete your launcher in system > priv-app then copy and paste the launcher from the zip to your OPLauncher2 folder. You don't need to install it just close your File Xplorer then reboot and it should be working. After rebooting check home settings and you should have leftmost screen option now. If you happen to uninstall the mod in Magisk that launcher from the zip will stay as your stock launcher without the Google feed. If your having trouble uninstalling your stock launcher it's because Magisk automatically mounts System > Priv-app as read-only when you start installing modules. I just disable installed modules for now and it goes back to read-write

Thank u very much friend, I did as u said but still it didn't worked for me.
Thank u again.

It worked for me. Thank you for the explanation!

You get more space between the nav-bar and home screen apps with GoogleFeedLauncher module if you use nav-bar? Here's a few screenshots to show you how to remove the space. Change to gesture control to remove the space. The first screenshot has no gesture pill and to remove that just flash this module in Magisk Manager

I'm cannot make it work, the version of the apk remain the one unaltered from the store, magisk doesn't override the system apk

Edit: I finally make it work and made a thread for Oneplus 5 so we can discuss there the Pie version

@stian230 @HofaTheRipper can I share this mod on OnePlus 5 forum? 3.5.2 version (just updated to the new magisk template) since we don't have Q yet and everyone on this thread just care about 4.*
Obviously all credits are for you

I was waiting for him but it didn't do anything

I have to explain it better, it works but the switching launcher manually is difficult. I always install it on a clean OOS rom before installing other modules. After flashing did you check the opfeedlauncher folder, was there only one file in there?

Thank u man, u r champ. finally it worked for me , actually it works with launcher version u attached.
Thanks again, happy flashing

I was determined to get DT2S working with Google Feed Launcher so I tried everything and this step worked for me so thought I'd share it. Just never update your launcher in play store or Google Feed stops working. If you accidentally update the launcher it's easily fixed by going to Data > Apps with your Root File Xplorer then delete the update and reboot. This version used to flash and install prior to Magisk v20.1 but with v20.3 it won't flash correctly

yep well said, Now if someone can make this launcher such that we can change row n column size with grid margin none ,it would be as perfect as nova.

And I change Window animation scale to 0.5 in developer options. It makes the OOS launcher and system a bit faster.

Everything was working like a charm on Oneplus 7 Pro with OOS 10.3.0 and the 4.0.0 version even DT2S but now since I updated to OOS 10.3.1 impossible to make it works, even the installation of the apk of the 3.5.2 version from APK mirror is not working, seems like old version is not supported anymore by the OS. :(

Have you got any idea how this is happening.. I'm on OOS 10.3.1 with my 6T and you've probably seen my post about installing the 4.0.0 version where DT2S still works. Hopefully you get it working on later versions as I've been following your posts. Anyway, this is what I'm asking for help with. I uninstalled the Magisk module I was using and I've still got Google feed 2 days later. The module isn't in Magisk Manager or in Data > Adb > Modules. I always delete a lot of System apps using Twrp and I always uninstall that Android Setup app that asks for WiFi. But I accidentally uninstalled the other Android Setup app the other day before I uninstalled the Magisk module. There's 2 of those Android Setup apps and I deleted both. Do you think this could be causing the Google feed to keep working? It's not a T-Mobile either.

It's not installed. Here's some screenshots I just took.

@DanGLES3 is the hero you need. We were poking around in the launcher smali, and he figured out google left is tied to a prop.mod

ro.build.mea=1

This will activate google left, DT2S works as it should, and no real side effects (you may notice some stuff missing in the about phone section, but it appears cosmetic, or it may be just me)

I've made a magisk mod to simplify it. Just uninstall anything related to making left work, update to the latest OOS launcher in the playstore, flash the mod and reboot.

    Huge thanks to @aer0zer0 and @DanGLES3

    Instructions:

    * Uninstall previously GoogleFeed modules and update Launcher in Play store.
    * Install OOSLeft_V1.zip.
    * Now you can updates the launcher from Play with out losing Google Feed:good:

    Instructions for Android 9

    1. Download the module flash it and reboot .

    2. Go to Google play store and uninstall OnePlus launcher and disable auto-update.

    3. Hit the home button.

    Tip: If you want to keep the same layout of your homescreen from the original launcher, use OnePlus Switch application to backup OnePlus Launcher and after you have the modded launcher with Google Feed installed, do a restore for OnePlus Launcher from OnePlus Switch, worked like a charm. Avoids having to re-do the entire homescreen layout or app folders.
