UPDATE: Added unity installer, should be an easier time with AML mods. Flash unity installer once to install, flash it again to remove the mod

Way to go thanks for adding this mod, the sound is significantly quieter in the earpiece and that's expected maybe you could lower the volume of the main speaker to make it more stero sounding.

When I flash the new zip file it seems to work ok ,but it deactivates the V4A and earpiece sound for phonecalls doesn't work anymore. After deactivating it in Magisk everything works again, but the mod. Any solution to this? Am I doing something wrong?

Hmmm.. it's working properly for me, install the mod before any aml, I'll check with zackptg5 on how to fix this

If you absolutely abhor the speakers, here are some balancing scripts, update coming soon to do this automatically

echo 0x210f > /sys/kernel/debug/tfa98xx-34/regs/06-AUDIO_CTR
echo 0x8093 > /sys/kernel/debug/tfa98xx-34/regs/04-I2SREG # right channel only

Execute these in term emulator

I found out the problem, it works when your phone is in permissive, Check the ultimate audio and battery guide for link to that module

UPDATE: v2.1, balanced the speakers (what everyone has been asking for) automatically on boot. No need to enter those commands anymore, currently working on v2.5 which starts the phone with stereo sound by default and v3.0 works with AML (Sneak peak, not here yet. This is my progression of updates to come)

Hi XDA, I reversed engineered chdloc's dual stereo speaker mod into a magisk module for simple and easy installation, it is simply just flash the module in magisk and profit! I will be uploading to the official repo soon, but here is the zip for now. Have fun!

The mod is NOT for loudness, @chdloc told me that if I try to make it louder, it would cause distortion with the speakers. This is why I included the pixel speaker ctrl app

The Permissive module is Required it is inside the download folder that you can navigate via the the link

If you are on an AOSP rom with the July patch, your SE linux may be permissive already, check in settings before flashing the permissive module

Good question. It's hard for me to tell if it's working or it's not. ?

I'll push out something today that will fix this low speaker issue, I forgot to make the stock xml file a .xml.bak
