I've actually edited both files previously and used Magisk. The navbar appears for one boot then disappears again in the next reboot. But perhaps I missed something.

Hi, because i'm also curious on enabling the navbar on mia1, i take a look at the files you sent, have you try changing

setprop qemu.hw.mainkeys 1
to
setprop qemu.hw.mainkeys 0

on init.qcom.sh line 418?

Here i am presenting some collection of Magisk Modules for our MI A1 Oreo. U need latest Magisk manager+framework...

Fingerprint Magisk module to allow Fingerprint wake up without pattern or password or Pin. You can use any 3rd party double tap to sleep app with this module. Simple press Fingerprint to open display..

Who can use this Fingerprint mod? Those who don't like to use Power Button to turn off display. So i attached one apk here. Using that apk u can simply turn ur display off also its works with Fingerprint. U can add that app in ur home screen.

Its only for Oreo. Stable and Beta. Updated links for LineAge OS 15.1 (Oreo 8.1.0 too)

You can use Fingerprint Quick Action (with root access) for that.

I installed the app suggested by Sipollo
It runs well
I got the feature to send into sleep the screen using fingerprint but ... I lost the feature coming by Moun kernel to wake up with double tap: now I can only using fingerprint

Awesome, both radio and fingerprint wakeup working perfectly fine. Really like this 'blended' 2 into 1 module (FM+FP wakeup)

9.6.5.0 is last stable version, so you have to use the first one.

I installed via Magisk, and reboot, but when I touch fingerprint nothing happen. is there any to setting first ?
