I've got an issue... Yesterday I successfully flashed the patched boot.img and got Magisk and a few tweaks working. Earlier I went ahead and did a reboot after uninstalling some app (non-related) but the system didn't want to boot anymore and had to flash the stock boot.img back and flashing the patched one again doesn't work anymore. I tried wiping cache/dalvik from recovery.. no succes. Any ideas how to get root access back and have the system boot successfully? OP1 Android 10.

Fastboot boot not work on android 10
Fastboot flash boot_a twrp.img or fastboot flash boot_b twrp.img work

Be careful when installing or updating modules, I updated the busybox module and the phone wouldn't boot anymore, just went straight to fastboot with no boot animation.
I had to flash stock boot img to boot again, but then it's not possible to remove the bad module.
Backed up my sdcard and apps and rolled back to pie until there's working twrp.

Did u find solution for this? I also tried to install busy box but got stuck in fastboot boot loop. Boots fine if I uninstall magisk but I can not reinstall magisk now anymore. Is there a way to remove busybox module from recovery mode?

Whats the right command to flash it?

fastboot flash boot_a filename.img
fastboot flash boot_b filename.img
or
fastboot flash boot filename.img

Even easier way to root without TWRP:
1. Install OTA update (Don't reboot).
2. Open Magisk Manager, install Magisk and choose "Install to Inactive Slot (After OTA)" (Now reboot).
3. Now you are rooted without TWRP and without any boot img hassles as well. :D

Is this still the same procedure for OOS 10 on OP 6 via OTA??

/Right now I haven't recieved the OTA, and fastboot flashable zips are yet to arrive, so it has kind of risky for me ?/

What? Rooting doesn't do anything to your sim card. Just install the patched boot onto your laptop, connect your phone to your laptop, launch the fastboot power shell and paste the command.

Updated with Oxygen OS 10 patched and stock boot imgs:

OOS 10 Patched Boot
OOS 10 Stock Boot

Do you have boot images for the beta 2 of Android 10 ?
