Thanks for this great tool! It would be good to include somewhere in the initial posting recommendations about how to ideally use this very nice tool. From what I understand it is best to keep the state of charge as much as possible between 60 and 80%. Thus it is not wise to use something like 20% as a lower threshold.
My phone (Xperia Xa2) has plenty of battery capacity, so I actually stop charging at 80% and still have more than 50% change left at the end of the day. If I would charge normally to 100%, the battery would be over 90% for something like 20 hours each day, which would be very bad.
What I am wondering: is it a good idea to keep this enabled all the time? Can this e. g. hurt the estimation of the state of charge? If yes, how do we effectively prevent this? Is it sufficient to charge the battery e. g. once per month to 100%? And/or should we reset the battery statistics from time to time as well? What does that actually do?
