I've never taken the plunge on magnetic, but have thought about it a lot and read a bunch.

I've never broken a port (knock on wood) , cable can be plugged in both ways, cost too much, and often aren't long enough. (that's what she said)

I hadn't noticed b4 though, that these magnetic plugs stick out pretty far. I always expected they were pretty flush. Maybe to the point of being hard to get out, but at least flush with a typical case.
These things seem to be sticking out pretty far and I don't think I could deal with that.
Yeah, they do stick out if you don't have a case and it is annoying. But this is as close as you can get to fast wireless charging. Ive tried flush ones in the past and the magnets were so weak that most of the time it wouldn't charge unless you messed with it. Nothing worse than waking up in the morning with a dead phone.

So it comes down to, do you want easy fast charging where you don't have to fumble around with a cable in the night or live with an extra couple of seconds of fumbling. To each his own, just depends on personal preference. I would love for a flush, quick charge version but I don't think we will ever see it sadly. Only if an OEM builds it in.

For those in the UK, the sikai 5amp seems to be available on amazon:

SIKAI 5A Super Charger Charging Cable compatible with HuaWei mate 20 Pro Nylon Braided Type C Quick Charge Magnetic Car Data Cables for Huawei P20 Pro/Honor 10 (Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QGYDDQH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_pu1kDb8TP2A8D

I just can't seem to find the usbc adapter here, only the cables. Shipping from China seems to be extremely slow.

I had a spare Huawei p20 pro cable and using it with the warp charger it won't warp charge

But I was wondering which cable of all the listed that show warp charger but also do it at full amperage?

Could someone with volta 2.0 or Sikai can check charging current on ampere app? Is it real 5000+ ma under 50% battery?

I've tested MANY usb cables like aukey, baseus, blitzwolf and none of them triggered warp.

Even "original" cables from aliexpress or alternatives like titacol doesn't work well. They indees trigger warp with animation etc but current is around 2300ma instead of 5000+.

Can those with a case post pics with and without the Sikai inserted, while taking pics of the charging port at an angle to gauge thickness of the Sikai plug?

I'm not really a fan of stuff sticking out, but am wondering if it will be flush (if not, close to) with my Spigen Tough Armor case, which I would prefer for it to.

This is how deep the charging port is with my Tough Armor:

Really? review on amazon says it works with warp/dash. When you were charging was the percentage below 50%?
May technically "work" but it's only slow charging for me. I purchased 2 more of their 1.5m cables and none will fast charge. Maybe it's me.

The package says it supports 5A but isn't OnePlus Fast/Warp charge system proprietary? I'm pretty sure it is.

Warp/dash charging uses the extra pins from USB 3.0 to charge what is basically two batteries. That's why you don't get fast data speeds on the warp cable. The battery is wired like it's two half sized 5V batteries that run parallel. That's why I'm going to try a 20 pin magnetic adapter. With 5 pin ones it may say it's getting warp charge but probably isn't charging the second battery.

Got the Skai. I love that it allows wireless charging and is magnetic. I will say it only charges slowly with the Dash or the Warp charger.
Are you using the OEM brick? I noticed that 2 of my non OEM bricks do not dash or warp but my OEM work perfectly. I need to know if I should remove the wireless pad version from OP. I did see confirmation from another user who bought it saying it did warp.

Edit* just had multiple users confirm it does in fact dash and warp charge. Whatever reason yours doesn't work is completely unique to your situation. Either a defective cable or non OEM charging brick. Just a fyi

I also got the dock and love it. Ordered 2 more. Very fast charging (exact same as OEM cable). They put an even stronger magnet on it. Depending on the case you are using you may want to get some spacers to keep it from wobbling

Check Amazon reviews, people confirm it does work and a few users on this forum said it also works. I also confirm the other SIKAI cables work perfectly. So the wireless pad should be no different unless defective.

Hope this helps? This was from my SIKAI docking station while warp charging.

For those with the SIKAI, does the charging plug get warm or hot at all when warp charging?
No, haven't noticed a heat personally...

connector for type C male?

hi,

is there another connector that can be attached to existing type c male?
I need to connect to HDMI adapter

it would be nice to have magnetic in the phone that can be connected to warp charger and to output to HDMI
Which magnetic also supports data for such video output?

tnx
