Making the ZoomBar work like Scroll Wheel

Dear everyone,

Just thinking it will be very nice if someone can turn the ZoomBar on Diamond 2 to works like the Scroll Wheel on Diamond 1!!!!!!!!

Should be a very good and useful hack to make the most use of Diamond 2!!!!

I think using Diamond Tweak to enabling scroling wheel for some application you can do it with zoombar.
I installed too many application (Diamond Tweak, HD Tweak, Advandced Config Tool, GControllerInstaller, etc) and now I don't know hoy did this to scroll Contacts, Call History, File Explorer, Programs...

This would be awesome. Somewhat useful. I know that Screen is way accurate and I can hit my target everytime, even in the littest areas. This will change with WM6.5 when menues and buttons are larger but it would be nice to scroll with the bar.

I have tried already and it's working!!!!
Just do what you have done on the previous Diamond Scroll Button.
But the only thing is, you have to set the WheelCount value to 8 instead of 2 in order to get better result

Go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/HTC/SmartTouch/]
Create a New Key ) MSContactsUI
Create a New String Value) Name = ClassName String = MSContactsUI
Create a New DWORD Value) Name = Mode DWORD Data= 4
Create a New DWORD Value) Name = WheelCount DWORD Data= 8

Note this is just an example where "MSContactsUI" is the window class name for the program "Contacts", you need to find out the other programs' window class name which you want to use the scroll functions.

eg. the other window class name:
RescoPhotoViwer = RESCO_PICVIEW_CLASS
InternetExplorer = IExplore
File Explore = FEXPLORE
CorePlayer's class = wCorePlayer
Contact=MSContactsUI
Calender= Calender

Don't know about the Diamond Tweak, may be you can try to edit the Registry by using RescoExplorer or other Registry program.

Not all the program can work with that, u can try the default "window file explorer" first, if it is working for you then may be the other program you want to add do not support that function!
By the way, make sure you get the correct window class name in the first place!

Yes I used PHM regis editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/HTC/SmartTouch/ select folder [file explorer, contact, etc] then change WheelCount to 8

Hi all HTS's! This is my very first post here, as a TD2 owner (already 3 days ago...)
Lucas htc SmartTouch Enhancement: tested, it works at least in phone all calls list. Not work in playlist, photos, all programs...
Mention off topic: 3 days ago, in the evening i put the battery and started for the first time... it has 2 lines at batt icon. Never charged and it seems to be in good shape! So, good batt management!
