use iphone 4s for all day with Wifi and have 70% left by the end of the day? Could be more specific? I have the Titan and would love to compare.
Thanks. It is sad that see you leaving WP for now, and wish you will be back when WP become more competitive.![]()
I hope you don't mind this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20533853&postcount=14So, although it is frustrating to lose the things I miss, it's still better keeping $90 per month or ($1080 per year).
I have added this to iPhone Advantages:What about the fact that you can't backup Windows 7 phone completely. This was my straw that broke the camels back. It only does full backup for updates. If you have to swap your phone out Zune backs up tha names of the apps but you have to reinstall them all. I know that methods have been developed but there is no plug and backup method. I was hardcore windows but now that I have the iPhone 4s I am much happier. Windows just feels undone.
Virtually every comparison thread deteriorates into subjective opinions which eventually turn ugly leading to thread closures by the moderators.I was not bashing just my opinion on the feel of it. Goodness.
I'm not sure if that is as true today as years past regarding iTunes and QuickTime.![]()
Someone presenting their opinions as just that is one thing, but you are right that it doesn't take long at all for things to degenerate. Honestly though, I think this is probably the most civil and on topic comparison threads I've ever seen.
But back on topic... +1 for not having to deal with itunes, I've found that iTunes and QuickTime will cause lots of issues on Windows machines and actually cause PCs to become unstable.
Am I wrong to understand that zune does a back up restore point for each windows phone before you update it? Isn't that automatic system back up? Ok, it's not full i.e. you can't back up games data and sms, but the rest you can - restore via different routes. Does iPhone do something like single click restore or so? :s not sure!I have added this to iPhone Advantages:
22. Automatic full system backup for updates.
Not sure what you mean by "Windows just feels undone." In any case that is not a constructive or descriptive comment and has no business being in this thread.
This thread is not about bashing either platform.
Yeah, you could be right. It's probably worth mentioning that my last experience with it was on XP and was nearly two years ago now. Even Microsoft's own updates started to make that OS more unstable after awhileI'm not sure if that is as true today as years past regarding iTunes and QuickTime.
I currently have both an LG Quantum and an iPhone 4S syncing to the same computer. So, I am running Zune and iTunes on the same computer. I've had no issues with it.
Zune is easier to manage what directories of songs get syncronized in comparison. Especially if you want to stop syncing a folder.
Both have quirks though, so I don't know if I will add it as an advantage or disadvantage to either.
True, much is backed up in Zune, but not everything and it is not as visible.Am I wrong to understand that zune does a back up restore point for each windows phone before you update it? Isn't that automatic system back up? Ok, it's not full i.e. you can't back up games data and sms, but the rest you can - restore via different routes.
