Using V1 right now and it is very stable, should I flash the V2? Also one more thing is it possible to tweak the minimum brightness value to 1 without changing the source value and rebuild the whole kernel afterward? Thanks!

I recommend always upgrading to the latest version, but you can stay with v1 too. I dont think that change is possible unless you use an app.

V3 is uploaded since there's nothing else to be done.

Changes:
- Fine tuned the optimisation codes
- Added commits from bauner's kernel source
- Added kernels for LineageOS 13 and 14.1 since they're out anyway
- Edited Post #2 with some tweaks for a better experience

That is what baffles me. From my working install of 14.1, I flashed your kernel then wiped cache and dalvik. During the booth, the phone was connected to adb. After boot, the power button doesn't work. The recovery combo doesn't work also. Button presses aside from the power button shows on adb.

Alright, I'll take it down. Did you manage to get a logcat? And did flashing stock return the function?

Everything on your kernel works, aside from the power button on that boot. I cleared data system and cache, flashed 14.1, then flashed your kernel. It ran into a bootloop and I can't access adb during the bootloop.

As of now i have clean installed 14.1 and 13. Power button still isnt detected/recognized by the OS and recovery. I am using TWRP.

PS. Do you have N7000ZSLR1_N7000OZSLR1_BRI stock rom? Can you upload the kernel and radios?

I don't think it's my kernel then. Nobody else has mentioned it and you used a clean install, could be your hardware problem.

Install alogcat, press power button a few times and save the logcat then upload it.
i have download your zipped kernel and see that your zImage already packed to boot.img
i have a question, what tools that you use to unpack and repack the boot.img, i have try many tools but so difficult to unpack boot.img from bauner rom.
Thanks in advance

For the Note 1 our boot.img is the zImage.img itself, you just need to rename them. Not sure if it's a Samsung thing or only for older devices.
