Manual vs auto update

So at some point in the very early morning I'm awoken by a couple of buzzes and a bright white screen. It's auto update time.
Fortunately this time it didn't wake the SO...

I've looked in every setting/checkbox on both the Moto360, Connect and Android Wear and can't see a way to suppress auto update. Other than manually turnning off bluetooth every, single, night, is there a way?
