I bought my first Poco F1 in November 2018 (Manufacturing date 10/2018; NVT panel) and it had both screen bleeding and touch issue. Sold it and got a new unit (Manufacturing date 5/2019; NVT panel) and surprisingly it doesn't have any issue. No screen bleeding, no touch issue nothing.

Bought it 3 days ago.

Oct 2018 manufacturing. NVT Panel.

No ghost touch but I have screen bleeding in the bottom. Also issues with PUBG... When I move and aim at the same time, then more often that not the aim would be stuck, it's as if the swipe for aim change isn't being recognised.

Thanks, so October one seems to be one of the "worst" or problematic one :(
Another user confirmed the same

Thanks, so confirmed that 2018-12 fts has no big problems.
yes 12/2018 fts has annoying problems......mine is an example.....7 months without problems then suddenly screen freeze, ghost touch and touch lag......i change roms, vendors and kernels and i get one of the above mentioned issues more than the other+older roms that worked for 7 months w/o issues are now having touch issues too!.

the weird thing is that for the first few hours/days of flashing a different rom/kernel no touch issues at all then suddenly with pubg all the hocus pocus starts:(

Try CLEAN FLASHING the latest xiaomi eu global AND latest malakas oc kernel. They have the latest firmware needed for no more problems. Let me know if you installed it and you still have problems

please specify the version of xiaomi eu(10.3.6.0 stable?)......and the version of malakas oc kernel?

I ALWAYS clean flash roms(full wipe including internal storage+format data).

I tried 10.3.6.0 official global stable with one of the malakas kernels, i also tried 10.3.6.0 firmware/vendor with many roms/kernels combinations and the problem persisted(the nature of touch problem changes with different kernels, vendors but issues are still there).

am currently on firmware 10.2.2.0 +miuipro 9.1.24+ the latest rebirth kernel(7/8/19) and touch issues are better during pubg but i get some screen freeze just after exiting pubg!

no ,simply because touch issues am having for 3 weeks now(after 7 months without issues) are a mixed bag......some vendors/kernels/roms combinations decrease screen freeze in pubg but add ghost touch and touch lag instead. other combinations decrease touch issues in pubg but add screen freeze just after exiting the game!

other game like mc5 ,gear club....etc run fine

pretty weird situation that am seriously thinking to sell this poco and never buy xiaomi again:(

Changed my Digitizer because of broken glass 2 weeks ago.
Builddate printed on the inlay of the display is 2019/02

Device Info HW says fts_ts
Last Beta 9.6.27

No Ghost Touches or strange behaviour - everything is working well.
The old digitizer had Ghost Touches with the same Firmware, but I don´t know the type.

just letting you know i just clean flashed eu 10.3.6.0 stable .....didnt install pubg and didnt even go online yet......no touch issues at all.......will install pubg and try with stock kernel and if touch issues start will flash malakas latest oc kernel......if screen freezes will flash the regular malakas and test.

i keep asking myself, if the phone has no touch issues at all right after flashing the rom.....can this still be a hardware issue?

have been testing latest eu stable+latest malakas oc kernel(5/8/19) for two days......seems its the best fix so far.....am not getting screen freezes in phone menus anymore, only get occassional screen freeze in pubg when in action(fixed by locking and unlocking screen) and rare ghost touch and rare touch lag(probably from the server connection and high ping).

hope we,re moving in the right direction in completely fixing this:cowboy:
