i have a hopefully simple question. when the market auto updates your apps. as mine does, is that because of the market version. or the z roms? ive been using. dont wanna try something else cause i like not using titanium. any input is appreciated.

I am not a 100% sure what your question means, but here is my attempt to answer.

The market has an auto-update feature for applications that u select to automatically update. (It shouldnt be rom specific, the new market application just has that feature)
For applications that you don't wish to update, just uncheck the auto update box. Titanium pro has a feature to detach an app from its market link so market will never nag you about updating it. I do that for the hacked flash.

ok. well when i try a new z rom it automatically puts the apps i had on my phone previously back. i dont know if google is doing that, the market, or the rom. i like the feature. thanks for the advice.
I know on most of the AOSP roms thats google. Google backs up almost all the data on your device (if you choose to have it do so) and then restores it when you "activate" (aka "flash a new rom") on the phone again.

I think that was something added in the new Sense, I believe all the Z roms do that.
