Ah. Your original post calls for GSI.
Yeha, i am sorry for the lack of Communication but i have a lot of work going on for Xperias. Stay tuned :)
Can you make video or screenshots with mars som? What exactly its doing?
It's an Magisk Module. Just try it and remove it if You don't like it... There are many additions baked in rn.
sorry if i misunderstand. but if i am correct, right now we can enjoy this via android 12, and in the future maybe android 13 as well?
This is 100% correct. It's a side Project rn since i am working on AOSP/LOS and Trees besides overhauling the whole SODP Repos on Github. Updates will come at a time!

Someone here who wants to try LOS 20.0 builds from Me? Based on Android 12 Stock FW...

Yeah I can test LOS 20. I don't use my Xperia 1 III anyways so no matter if it doesn't work 100%.

@Miustone
I see that you disabled compander & set analog volume to 20 & digital volume to 84 for DAC in mixer_paths_noextcodec_snd.xml, which is good.

My only advice is to switch DAC from LOHIFI to HIFI mode. Battery increase for slightly better audio quality is non-existent/negligible.

From:

<ctl name="RX_HPH_PWR_MODE" value="LOHIFI" />
<ctl name="RX HPH Mode" value="CLS_H_LOHIFI" />

To:

<ctl name="RX_HPH_PWR_MODE" value="HIFI" />
<ctl name="RX HPH Mode" value="CLS_H_HIFI" />

&
From:

<ctl name="RX_HPH_PWR_MODE" value="ULP" />
<ctl name="RX HPH Mode" value="CLS_H_ULP" />

To:

<ctl name="RX_HPH_PWR_MODE" value="HIFI" />
<ctl name="RX HPH Mode" value="CLS_H_HIFI" />

Here, you can see that DAC is either in UltraLowPower mode or LowHifi mode.

My device, Poco X3, shipped with ULP mode by default and while it's sound quality was ok, it's amp was so weak. Switching DAC from ULP to HiFi mode along with analog & digital volume increase increased maximum volume nicely & slightly improved sound quality.

I accidentally stumbled on this thread and I remember your work from ZTE Axon 7 days which you quickly abandoned. While I prefer more system-ly and native solutions without using scripts or Magisk, I think that you have an interesting work.

I am considering to join the Sony family once Sony Xperia IV launches. It looks like an very interesting device to me. And I want to experience great design & build quality with clean software for reasonable price after using this plastic mess lol. The only Xiaomi device where I liked design & build quality was white Poco F2 Pro.

Cheers!
@Miustone this feature could be awesome since this phone is one of the last one with audio jack. Do you know if this could be implemented? Thank you

I installed 20 as soon as it was available to download. It was fairly stable on my III, but the one thing that made me go back to 19.1 was that the bluetooth would only play from the speaker (not ear buds). I do use the phone as a DD, but only minimally (phone, SMS, wifi, bluetooth). Get that working and I'm game.

Download path (for November):
