Everything went smoothly, except that my phone still had most of it's data (most apps, sms, cal llogs, etc.) and settings. looking at flashtool again, i see there are some chack boxes i probably should have marked in, but hey weren't mentioned in any of the how-to posts.
Now my phone is working ok, but google play services crashes a lot, the music app and google play music won't play any audio files off my sd card (though vlc plays them just fine). I've cleared the data and cache from google services and the music apps, but that hasn't helped. once my battery is charged, i guess I'll reflash, but i'd like to know exaclty which chack boxes i should and shouldn't fill in.
