I had started a thread over in the nexus 6 forum but was thinking maybe this would be a better place.
There seems to be very limited information out about how this is being handled.
This site has a pretty good write up on it http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/10/android-6-0-marshmallow-thoroughly-reviewed/6/
However my issue lies in the fact that a tiny fraction of my apps are actually getting into the Google Drive/Settings/Managed backups.
Everywhere it seems to refer to next to all apps will get backed up properly this way. But this is not my experience.
This is a major pain point in android and one of the reasons to root. I really hope this gets ironed out.
What are others experience with marshmellow app data backup and restore?
