dono, if you buy some expensive phone (900$) you need some quality screen protector, if 16-20$ is expensive ? i dont think so, the martin fields is one of the best that you can find

I have always found the genuine HTC ones to be the best. The last martin field one i got did not fit properly, that was for a nokia 7710 though

I wouldn't say 'need'. What's wrong with looking after your possessions properly?

Yeah that screen protector is a rip off.. people get taken for a ride with that mentality "your item is expensive therefore the don't buy a cheap accessory - you need the more expensive one."

I have been using an ebay screen film and silicone case for a while now and the $9 AUD combo works perfect.

Like Trifidw said "look after your possessions". Added protection is for peace of mind, but there's only so much a person should pay for a piece of clear plastic.
