If you want to stay stock check out on playstore for fonts....
My pack is for rooted peop's as i said yesterday.
These are security on flipfont to check if fonts are compatible or not. When rooted we can bypass this security.

Yes if you know how to decompile and recompile an apk you can do properly or perhaps badly with 7zip.
Since you do not distribute it and doing it for yourself no problem.
And as i said in op Arabic fonts are not specific to arabic language they work for everybody !

Sent via my awesome S6 powered by the famous WETA Rom ?
I also won't use hundreds of different fonts and only need a particular few.

I'm not a developer or anything, but I'd like to follow up on this post, so I'll try to explain this as best as possible.

1. Download the .apk and change the extension to .zip
2. Extract the files to a folder and go to "assets"
3. Remove the fonts I don't need from the "fonts" folder.
4. Remove the xml files I also removed the fonts for in the "xml" folder
5. Zip the main folder again and rename extension to .apk
6. Install as per your instructions.

Would this work and only show the fonts I had in the folder?

This is a dirty method to modify but yes it should work . i suggest you to open the apk directly with 7zip and drag and drop folder as you describe.
This would not break the apk signature.

6.Close 7zip

Do a backup before trying this !

Edit: removed DL link as per creators request.

Got it working without any issues. Now I only have the fonts I really want/need. In total: 26.

I've attached that version for anyone who's interested in it. Extract the APK file and copy to system/app/SamsungSans and set permission to --rw-r--r-- and reboot.

List of fonts inside this APK:
Code:

Hi Guys !

Some of you already know me when using XDA POWER FONTS PACK done few years ago and used in differents roms and mods ...

Since i Bought an S6 (G920F) , i restarted my work to make it compatible with our phone ... and IT NOW WORKS :)

It works on all sams'rom based on 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 (Odexed or Deodex) using flipfont system

How to :
This APK need to be placed in system/app/SamsungSans/ (and apply 644 for perm on the apk )
if you dont have SamsungSans folder you need to create it idealy (but it work also in system/app/ )

flashable : Reboot in twrp and flash :)

Flashable version now include automatic cleaning of existent apk from samsung, extract apk in right place and apply permission so no more problem for non-expert users , if using apk your have to do it manually :)

How to change fonts :
Go to Settings / Display / Font (first opening can take 4/5 second) and select the font in the huuuuggggeeeee list provided :)

!!!!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO MOD IT FOR YOUR USAGE YOU CAN BUT PLEASE DO NOT POST MODIFIED VERSION!!!!!!!!

!!!! PLEASE DO NOT POST MIRROR !!!! (Ask me in pm if download on AFH is not working for you)
APK : Download

ZIP : Download

:laugh::laugh::laugh: Have Fun :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Please dont forget to rate this thread and press thanks !

For ROM DEV : Feel free to include my work in your rom , just give credits ;)

V4 is on the road ...

Changelog :
=> Many new/update fonts from Marshmallow 6.0.1
=> Improve stability
=> Adding Unicode 8 support

I'll probably delete the apk version and will only let the flashable version since it's need to be flashed for working without issue ...

Stay tuned :)
Unicode 8 means the new émojis?
