I customized the ROM a bit and threw out some ringtones and some app-installers. System size is now 166 MB and superuser indeed works. So it was the partition size after all. Thanks for the tip! However, now lots of other apps quit unexpectedly, most frustratingly google mail. Any ideas on that? Cache clearing does not help :-/

If you have unexpected fc on some app. If I will you on your place. I will do try check all bad blocks on cLK. There's a clear graph of it.
I have some in recovery. :( So maybe it is the main problem.
Sorry for my English, mate.

I did also hard-reset, by pressing both volume up/down and the red button...

After I pressed the red button (for 30 sec) and then plugged the battery back, I came into the black boot screen and I choose the "AD Recovery".
In the next screen I've seen, that the battery was 95% full!!!!
So, I just pressed the first choice (boot) and... nothing happen, again.

I went again to Recovery screen and I choose to re-install the rom from the SD card (zip file); I did it, the process began and finished, the dialogue wrote to press the "Next" to boot and... still freezed on the animated splash screen!!!!!!

So, what's going on? Is the rom damaged and also I have a problematic SD card and the problem can't be solved?

Obviously there is a problem somewhere. So, take a deep breath, slow down and tell us everything about your installation. Nobody can guess without information. :)

We already know from your mentions that you are using Magdlr.

Now tell us what your partition sizes are (ideally from flash.cfg), which recovery you are using, how is your SD card partitioned, which install method you used (nand, dataonext, nativesd), did you check the SD card for errors, do you have bad blocks in nand memory,, etc. All info is helpful - we never know what may give a clue.

Well, to be honest... these are "Greek" to me (lol).
Yes, I used MAGDLR113_DAF. And I used 4ext200Μ (as they told me so, I believe in this very topic).
The rom is this: NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA_V2.9a (NAND, as far as I know - and I wanted to flash).
And I have the 4EXT Recovery v2.2.7 RC5. In there, says "Partition: sdcard", "Fs: fat32", "Size: null", "Free: 14.2GB". Also says "Current Rom: passion-user 2.3.6 GRK39F1"...
Also, how can I check the SD for errors? I have a SD reader adapter, but what should I do?
Same for bad blocks in NAND memory - I have no clue how to see that.

EDIT:
---------
I tried to format the sdcard and I've got an error message! Is this probably the issue - damaged SD?

Okay, this is a start. A few more questions. :) is this a Us or EU device (in other words, how much memory is built in). When you installed the rom, do you recall if you selected install option 1 (nand only) or 2 (nand & dataonext)?

You might want to do a little reading about SD Cards - see the SD thread in my signature for starters.

Unfortunately I will be away till next week. Perhaps some others can jump in and give you a hand for now. Either way you can get a head start by reading about checking and formatting cards.

Like I wrote (I think), it's a T-Mobile USA - so, with the larger capacity (from the European one).
Also, I choose Nand only.

Btw, I'm not patient at all - I believe there is a strong issue with the MicroSD card of mine and I ordered a new one; I'll pick it tomorrow.
(And my bloody old card-reader doesn't anything - I plugged the MicroSD and there is no pop-up message, nothing, no reading!)

Oops, missed the TMo part. :(

Since your device likely has bad blocks I would still recommend DataOnExt wuthering a decent card. Lots of info on bad blocks and formatting in my sd thread...

I stumbled upon the solution. After the update, the dalvik cache had been cleared (naturally). However, since I had created symlinks on my sd card for the *.dex data, this cache could not be found/restored/setup again. Batch-reinstalling the apps (I never realized until now, but the fact that the user data is saved during this step is soooo helpful!) created new dex-files and now everything is back up and running. No FC anymore, and 3.0b working just fine :)

For a few days I am trying to compile bcm4329 drivers with Monitor mode support.
With some success I have compiled drivers using Android NDK toolchains for cross compile.
Module compile is started by command:
Code:
[[email protected] ~]# CROSS_COMPILE=/usr/src/android-ndk-r8e/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi-4.4.3/prebuilt/linux-x86_64/bin/arm-linux-androideabi- make -C /usr/src/android_kernel_htcleo-2.6.32-ics-jellybean modules
After finish, there is bcm4329.ko driver, but it looks like it is built for ARMv5
Code:
[[email protected] bcm4329]# modinfo bcm4329.ko

Probably this is a problem with cross compiler configuration, but I could not find a way to switch compile to ARMv7 arch.

Any suggestion how to solve this issue ?

Lol, I just installed Ubuntu on HD2, downloaded kernel and drivers, compiled with gcc at HD2 platform and again driver is for ARMv5.
Even tried directly compile with
Code:
KBUILD_CFLAGS="-march=armv7-a -mtune=cortex-a8 -mfpu=vfpv3" make modules
same result, driver for ARMv5.

I am getting crazy, what am I missing ?

Working Monitor mode for bcm4329 and original driver

Finally I have maked to build and install wireless driver monitor mode.

For those who want to have monitor mode as a separate driver, download link is:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/67hlhas10vua1m5/Monitor.rar

Driver can not be used to connect via CM just for use as Monitor mode driver with tools like airodump-ng and similar. Aireplay tool also work with this driver.
Driver is compiled for 2.6.32_tytung_ics_r3.6.

Pack contains of installation of Monitor mode driver and original driver supplied by tytung.

Install method:
1. Unpack Monitor.rar in SDCARD
2. Via Terminal Emulator enter to /sdcard/Monitor and run driver installation 'sh setup.sh'
3. Start Backtrack or any other tool that require monitor mode driver
4. Use interface 'eth0' as interface in Monitor mode (no airmon required)

When you finish with Monitor tools, restore original driver:
1. Via Terminal Emulator enter to /sdcard/Monitor/Restore and run driver installation 'sh setup.sh'
2. Reboot Android
