When I eventually get to updating them for the G8 that version will also support the g8x. I am however not making any more G8X specific themes. I sold mine after a month and got the S20 Utra instead.

I don't blame you. Been back and forth on this device myself. But happy to hear those two are on the horizon. Will make the device more tolerable

I was so excited to get it but was so disappointed with it.

Hangouts version 33 or 32 won't start on my LG G8X with the Rain Theme enabled. If I switch to a stock theme, those versions work fine.

Anyone else experiencing this issue or suggestions on resolving it?

I would also like to know if anyone is able to successfully run Hangouts version 32.x or 33.x with Rain Theme enabled. Thank you for any replies.

I wont be able to attend to that for a bit. Unfortunately the only solution is to downgrade the hangouts version or not use the theme. Not ideal but thats about all I can offer at this point

The issue believe it or not is the app icon. Theming it now causes the app to crash! It makes no sense but that is why! So really all that needs to be done is to remove it. When I'm able to setup my new computer I can look at this. My computer had been dying for some time now and tonight it said goodbye to me!
