MCU/Android Update to 9.0 - AllWinner T3 P3 Quad Core 16GB 2GB 1024x600 Android 7.1.1

Hi guys,
I need any advice on my new Head Unit, in order to decide whether to try updating the ROM, or just start a dispute with the seller on Aliexpress. It is an Allwinner T3 k2001-nwd 2GB/32GB that was sold as Android 9.0, now the seller claims it is 8.1, while DevCheck (or CPUZ) show Android 7.1.1 (API 25, Security Patch: March 5, 2017 and Kernel 3.10.65). My problem is that the system responds very slow, it takes 2-4 seconds to react to simple commands (e.g. Back or Home buttons) even if it only has the factory apps + 3 new (waze, DevCheck and Launcher). The navigation is almost impossible to use - it is getting lost on the map after about 20 minutes and starts showing ridiculous speeds.
I noticed there's this "K2001N-GB-K2001N_NWD_lite" ROM that I could try to install, even if I'm not sure it will be possible, since the system is not rooted. Anyone has any suggestion on what ROM would it be advisable to install?

Hello again,
After several complaints to the seller concerning the lag of the tablet and GPS issues, he sent me a link to download a system update. I installed it the classical way: CarSettings->SystemSettings->SystemUpdate->StartUpdate (update.zip on external USB). The good news is that the system is overall a bit faster in responding to simple commands, but the navigation has the same strange behaviour as before: it works for ~20 minutes and then it starts jumping off the road or on neighboring street with unrealistic speeds.
Any advice? (other than throwing away the Head Unit???)

On this thread, all the orher recent AllWinner/exdroid hardware units appear to be sun81w11p1 but mine is sun81w15p1 and I cannot find that anywhere .... Also CPU-Z doesn't tell me the MCU Version so i will try another softwar to see if I can get ot ..Any help would be gratefully accepted .. I have experience flashing phones, but not head units .. and am concerned about the effects of flashing the wrong thing ...

From the linux kernel (4.9.118) info it would seem that it is running a fairly recent version of Android 9 and it's doing a whole lot of wierd things ... most annoying is that even though it auto-switches to the (non-existent) rear-view camera on selecting reverse, it doesn't restore the previous state ... it goes to a black screen when coming out of reverse .. just a black screen which I cannot get out of .... the buttons still cause beeps ... but otherwise there is nothing ... bluetooth sound stops working etc. ... I have to leave the car turned off for about half an hour before it returns to a normal state ... and when I select reverse again ... same thing happens all over ...
Any ideas ??
and any more generic roms I can use ?? the launcher on this is cranky, and the current system software just doesn't like FCC launcher.

I need help with my multimedia. I bought it with android 9 and used it for six months. Multimedia has a problem that I can't update in any way. I transferred the system to the USB memory and put it in the slot, but when it presses UPDATE SYSTEM in the car setings, nothing happens, I change nothing in the other slot. Multimedia is very slow ....

Dear Ahmed firstly i appreciate all your support and contribution to forum and helping members. I badly need your support...My headunit is:

Android version: 9
MCU version: T3L.3.19-100-20-A49305-190815(STM32)
System version: V8.1.1_20191125.110127_TW7-X (TOPWAY T3-A10908-V5)
Ram: 1.0 GB
Internal Memory:16 GB

Yesterday, to upgrade to Android 10, i flashed an img file "t3_android10_t3_p1_uart0.img" through Phoenix suite. After flash, the headunit booted up to first screen and then get stuck and 2nd boot screen (android).
I then used the method from 4pda:
1. Format the USB flash drive to FAT32, copy 4 firmware files to it.
2. Insert the USB stick into the USB socket of the device.
3. Turn the key to the ACC position.
4. Press and release the Reset button, then immediately turn off the ACC key. Then after 5 seconds turn the key to the ACC position.
The head unit will automatically enter the update mode.

and flashed "V13.0.0_20200217.165018_KED15-GT-N6502" files
but same result. I even changed the files names of last working firmware to same as V13.0.0 files but the headunit does not even boot.

Please help me with the reviving my headunit. I am scared of dismantling the headunit method.
Kindly share the procedure and correct files that I can flash. Many thanks and stay blessed.

I just bought what was supposed to be an Android 10 headunit for wife's 2017 RAV4. All docs say it is (API 27) V8.1.1.~ After reading these horror stories, I am going to follow advice I have given to people all my life. cambiare la terminazione in .img non ha funzionato, ma ho ricevuto da ahmed68 mcu e l'aggiornamento del sistema operativo per la mia radio e l'installazione è andata molto bene.
