Witson are a seller only, you need to post what unit you have otherwise no one will know if the MCU will be compatible with their unit. Go to Settings/About and get the manufacturer code its should be KGL, KLD, JY or something, its pretty useless to anyone without that code, it may even cause problems if someone assumes that the unit they got from Witson is the same as yours - some sellers sell units from several manufacturers.

Right, looking at your earlier post its not an MTCB head unit, it might be an MTCD headunit. Can you post a picture of the screen form settings/about so I can identify what unit you have ?sorry.. but don´t work 126

Quick q: if updating just the mcu, i understand you should put the mcu.img in the root directory of the sd card. Do you need an update.img (whether blank or an actual rom) in the same file in order to be able to update just the mcu?
