One last question, to update just download the MCU
corresponding to the version? So I have to take the one for KGL 3?
I put it on an external support and I install it on top?
I accidentally uploaded KGL_V2.54_1.pleasee

You do not have an MTCD/E unit - it would say "MTCD" or "MTCE" before the number if you did. Try the Android Headunit General forum.HELP PLEASE
I have in the last month, read pages and pages on the internet, this forum and others (including Russuan forums) and I am looking for information about my stereo and the ROM to flash.

Android Version 5.1.1

How can I update to lates MCU?
In recovery the flashing process just says error occurred and flashing failed. Ive tried multiple different SD cards in FAT32 as well as USB flash drive. I don't know why it won't flash....What sort of error ?
How are you trying to update ?
Have you tried a different usb or sdcard ? - sdcards have to formatted in FAT32.
Sounds like the mcu update may be corrupt, try downloading it again. In recovery the flashing process just says error occurred and flashing failed. Ive tried multiple different SD cards in FAT32 as well as USB flash drive. I don't know why it won't flash....
I tried that as well.... I was able to get an update from SYGAV directly. But its version 2.75. I was hoping to upgrade to the latest version...Sounds like the mcu update may be corrupt, try downloading it again.

I will give that a try.Try going to 2.75 and then updating to the latest.
Of course it matters, youre using entirely the wrong MCU ! Its the cause of your problem.I will give that a try.
I just noticed that this is under MTCB software development. I have a MTCD. Does that matter?
Hey man I'm just learning about these Android head units. It doesn't say anywhere in the OP that these MCUs that it's only for MTCB. Google took me straight to this thread. I noticed that it's in the MTCB section after the fact..Of course it matters, youre using entirely the wrong MCU ! Its the cause of your problem.
If you have an MTCD unit why the hell would you even try flashing an MTCB MCU ? !
It does - it says "MTCB" and you knew yours was "MTCD" so its clearly different, you were lucky, you could have bricked your unit, in future pay close attention. It doesn't say anywhere in the OP that these MCUs that it's only for MTCB. I get I messed up but it does not say for MTCB devices ONLY!It does - it says "MTCB" and you knew yours was "MTCD" so its clearly different, you were lucky, you could have bricked your unit, in future pay close attention.
