Type 1 and type 2 MD725 module swap for working bluetooth on Oreo.

Summary is that I have confirmed there are two versions of this module.

Using Type ONE (GOC-MD-725) module, I can now upgrade my PX5 to Oreo and have working BlueTooth (29/06/2020 - Users reporting MD725 Type one not working On Android 10 either.)

so i am new in the Android HU business and started with a MTCE PX5 4GB/32GB HU with Android 8.

Except for my Phone A2DP, Adressbook and Phonecalls, I can not facilitate BT for anything else.

Is this common for all Oreo-Roms?
or is it a Hardware-Limitation.

I would like to use my Phone's LTE Network over BT-Tethering for the HUs Internetaccess, and connect the OBD2 Adapter to the Android System.

Could all this be done with a MD725 BT Module? If so, where can i Find one, Has it some kind of Product-code? as my googling for the Chip does no find a product i can buy.

all MTCx Hardware, ok! also all Android versions? so also for Android 5,6 and 7? Because i could care less if it is oreo or not, i want to use this damn things Bluetooth connectivity.

If BT is working on older Software, can i downgrade the ROM to an older Software, if it was delivered with oreo?

I'm not trying to be lazy, but would you happen to have a link to the one you bought? I've been fruitlessly scouring the usual sources for an actual type 1 module.

as far as i know, MD725 type 2 doesn't work with Oreo.

Type 1 is the white one and Type 2 is the dark one (both in the first image).

I think you may be wrong on that. I have one that looks very similar to that dark one and it's a type 1
