I don't see how that is possible, but I've been wrong before.

I would like to point out that XDA thrives on the open sharing of information. Simply claiming that something is possible is of no help to anyone. If you know this to be possible, we ask that you share the method or process that you know to be successful, as well as the source.

I owned one in this month so the method is simple and it only works on android 11. you should factory reset phone and activate without sim card and don't connect to wifi. Than go to settings>about phone>build number tap 8 times
than go to developer options and enable usb debugging and when little box pops up check always, than connect phone to computer via usb cable open cmd and type 2 commands adb shell press enter than pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.work.oobconfig and press enter it should write success, now you can put sim card and connect to wifi. This is bypass method not remove method and only works on android 11 till factory reset than you should do the same after it.

So the MDM app comes back after a factory reset? That's weird. If it's possible to unlock the bootloader, a complete factory reflash should get rid of it.

Can you please describe "a complete factory reflash"?
I just did it using the in-browser flash tool with the "force clear smth" wipe data and so on, but no success to get rid of MDM.
There even was a disclaier saying that that kind o wiping would not remove any specially configured things.
Fortunately, I am able to unlock the bootloader if needed.

Where did you find this info?
I know mobile service points offer a kind of bypass that would allow you to even do the update to Android 12. It just resets once you factory reset, and during a simple OTA.

this worked for me on pixel 3XL on android 11 to remove mdm pwro when i upgraded to android 12 it crashed again, i realized with app inspertor it is an app to verify applications

I just connected to wifi, used shizuku with wireless debugging and app manager took care of the rest. Disable google play services and then use do not disturb. It gets really annoying until you tidy up your apk(s).
