I don't see how that is possible, but I've been wrong before.

I would like to point out that XDA thrives on the open sharing of information. Simply claiming that something is possible is of no help to anyone. If you know this to be possible, we ask that you share the method or process that you know to be successful, as well as the source.
I owned one in this month so the method is simple and it only works on android 11. you should factory reset phone and activate without sim card and don't connect to wifi. Than go to settings>about phone>build number tap 8 times
than go to developer options and enable usb debugging and when little box pops up check always, than connect phone to computer via usb cable open cmd and type 2 commands adb shell press enter than pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.work.oobconfig and press enter it should write success, now you can put sim card and connect to wifi. This is bypass method not remove method and only works on android 11 till factory reset than you should do the same after it.

So the MDM app comes back after a factory reset? That's weird. If it's possible to unlock the bootloader, a complete factory reflash should get rid of it.

Can you please describe "a complete factory reflash"?
I just did it using the in-browser flash tool with the "force clear smth" wipe data and so on, but no success to get rid of MDM.
There even was a disclaier saying that that kind o wiping would not remove any specially configured things.
Fortunately, I am able to unlock the bootloader if needed.

Nice one!
I was able to do this.
Where did you find this info?
I know mobile service points offer a kind of bypass that would allow you to even do the update to Android 12. It just resets once you factory reset, and during a simple OTA.
Thanks a lot!
*unfortunately, yes, it only works for Android 11.

Somewhere!
Hi everybody, I have recently used this method but I had to remove the "-k" option.

I'm using a Pixel 2 XL with Android 11, sadly the bootloader can't be unlocked, but anyway it's belong to a friend of mine and was bought overseas, so the returning option was not available but thanks to this I managed to resolve that big problem.

I just connected to wifi, used shizuku with wireless debugging and app manager took care of the rest. Disable google play services and then use do not disturb. It gets really annoying until you tidy up your apk(s).

Здравствуйте, столкнулся с этой блокировкой, нажимал разные вещи, нашел страницу с адресом компании

I wrote there with a request to remove the lock - they asked for the IMEI and took it off the next day without any problems.

Best of luck, this is why I don't ever recommend buying surplus enterprise devices for consumer use
Agreed, I've come to learn how risky it is. This was an eBay purchase, and there was no mention of the MDM lock/enterprise ownership in the listing. Fortunately it was a reputable seller with a good return policy, they immediately contacted the previous corporate owner and the MDM lock was removed remotely.

Once I reset the device, the lock was gone and bootloader unlock option was no longer greyed out in developer options. Just unlocked the bl with no issues. Got lucky.

    MDM meaning Mobile Device Manager?
Go to Settings > Security > Device Admin Apps, and disable whatever is in there. If that agent was still present after a factory reset I would highly recommend flashing a factory image with the Android Flash Tool, after you've enabled developer options and USB debugging.

yeah the app is bakeday firmware as you said, there are a bypass trick for android 11 but yesterday i got the ota and i m stuck on set up screen with a google authentification and no workaround to bypass this cheat :(
Sorry to hear that. That's why I'm very cautious about buying secondhand devices.

Hi have similar problem with mdm on pixel 4. Any solution?
Please read this thread. If you buy an enterprise device, it will likely have an MDM app baked into the firmware that you cannot remove without root; unfortunately, root is not possible without unlocking the bootloader, and unlocking the bootloader is not possible if OEM unlocking is not allowed in the ROM.
