With lollipop update, this tablet gets UEFI. With UEFI, hou can install Intel generic android image. It has it's own bootloader, unlockable by fastboot oem unlock or something similar. If anyone is interested in making cyanogenmod 12.1 for this device, he can use Intel's rom as a base, instead of ASUS' one. This way, the ASUS' bootloader will just go away, and with a full emmc backup, which can be restored from live linux, you can always go back (but who wants ASUS' bloated rom and ASUS locked bootloader, when we will have Intel's bootloader and generic cyanogenmod, which will work on ALL x86 UEFI devices, Including Windows tablets and Android tablets with locked OR unlocked bootloaders?

How can i set the intel rom? has it been tested on this device? is it safe? if no then i wont do it...
