You need to backup your current config.txt file.
Follow the guide to running a backup of your current head unit firmware at the start of this thread
forum.xda-developers.com
You then need to modify the config.txt file slightly. Change the line..
sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=1
to
sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=0
Then upload the new config.txt file to your unit.
You can upload the config.txt on its own without updating the firmware.
That should hopefully improve Bluetooth a little, but not completely.
FYT have deliberately crippled Bluetooth and USB on these units to prevent you using your own devices so that you purchase your resellers own ODBII reader, cameras, etc.
The thing is the optimum value of sys.fyt.bluetooth_type= can vary by device.
On a Teyes CC3 changing it from 1 to 0 improves things.
On my Mekede changing it from 1 to 0 makes things worse.
Have a try with different numbers and see what works best for you.
Read the 1st 4 posts by Surfer63 in the thread I linked above. Read them a few times.
XDA requires you do some reading/research of your own. Read the tutorials and use the search function.
You're unlikely to find many users willing to walk you through every step of a process for something that has been covered multiple times already.
