I want to know what kind of micro sd cards are supported by Huawei Media Pad M3. I want to buy a 128GB (or 200GB...why not?) sd card but I didn't find any info about supported sizes or trademarks.

Thanks in advance

What filesystem are you using for the 128GB card? Can we use exfat or ntfs and use large files like mkv movies larger than 4GB?

Not sure what you mean. Thanks for asking, Sorry I missed this message. Am looking to buy one now. Just want the largest with the proper specs.
its all good. Adoptable storage is where you can configure android to use the SD card as internal storage. EMUI does not support this feature.

I'm planning to buy the M3 wifi 32 GB version online from amazon.com & I've also settled on the "SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I card" to use for storage. Since I won't be able to return anything after purchase (because I don't live in USA), I'd like to have confirmation about compatibility between this card and the tablet. Thanks in advance.

I had the same questions. I'm using a Sandisk SDXC 128GB microSD card formatted as exFat without any issues. The card came formatted already as exFat; I just popped it in. Storing large (>4GB) .m4v files on it and watching via VLC player. No issues whatsoever.

Which filesystem is best to use?

I got a Sandisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-1 card and I put it in my Huawei Mediapad M3. I'm not sure what is that strange file system called "Generic hierarchical". Should I leave it as is or format to NTFS or exFAT?
Note: I'm noticing that Windows 7 takes a weird long time to transfer files from my SSD on my main computer to the SD card. Is that weird file system the reason?

Does the HUAWEI MediaPad M3 8.0 support the UHS-II class micro sdcards?

Anybody know whether the mediapad M3 supports UHS-II speeds?
I saw an Integral 128GB UltimaPRO-X2 V60 Micro SD Card (SDXC) UHS-II U3 advertised that said it was compatable with the HUAWEI MediaPad M3 8.0. Does anyone know if the the MediaPad M3 8.0 micro sdcard slot supports the UHS-II micro sdcard pin configuration?
