Does your phone have ICS partition (220/16/200)? And did you do full wipes and format your phone's system before you flash the ROM?

I started using it right after my N1 lost its power button. As of 1.4 .2 hwa the rom is nearly flawless ... no freezing or crashing. Memory management is a bit tricky and I had to disable some apps from being handled by ia2sd, but its smooth and fast (ended up enabling jit and doing other build.prop tuning). Battery life is great too. So far the only issue is 3g (T-Mobile) but it maybe a hardware issue.

Next questions: :)

-it takes a while until the browser shows the pages. I seems fully loaded but the screen is blank for a few moments. With Dolphin Browser it is faster but not perfect. Gingerbread did not have any issues like that.

-why is playing videos not without bucking? Youtube, own videos... is this a special bug which is still not solved with 1.4.2 HWA?

Thanks for any hints...

Yep this is my current pet hate with hwa enabled ics. Browser suffers terribly.

I'm using Opera Mobile, which is proving to be super fast on 1.4.2.

Half a day? Do you mean like 12 hours? That's about what I get anyhow. And I use a mix of 2G/3G to help conserve battery.

The browser is very slow right now ... but ...

Are you using IA2SD? It moves browser's Data to SD card by default - and it does slow the browser down a little. I noticed an improvement (albeit a small one) by moving data back to internal storage (via IA2SD app). It really doesn't take up much space.

I just checked browser in IA2SD and browser data is already on internal by default. Still painfully slow.

yes, around 12hours is my n1s current performance as well. Anyone who gets more please suggest what can we do to increase battery performance.

I can normally get about a day to a day and a half out of mine, granted I probably don't use it that much, one thing i have noticed that boosts the battery life a lot is turning off mobile data all together and only turning it on when you need it, most of us are within a wifi range 90% of the time anyway so there's no need for it and wifi to be on at the same time.

Did some of you try to make a backup with CWM-Recovery? I made it and it runs through - But! while restoring the sd-ext I got an "error while restoring sd-ext", then I looked into the CWM-Log and there shows "sd-ext is read-only" up. I didn't find a way to get out of this :(. Certainly the sd-ext is cracked after this try.

//edit;
A few hours ago I switched to 4ext-Recovery and now my problems are gone. Propably ext4 really seems to bethe better choice.

Anyone else whose Home-button is not working? In every app I have to go back with the back-button.
Furthermore locking doesn't work. Move finger, pattern, pin, password, noting works. Only on reboot it works for one time. After this one time on waking up I get back to the last screen. Till yesterday it worked fine :(.
