I wanted to clear up some confusion among new people on how to root, unlock bootloader, install twrp etc.

Let's start:
1. First off all make a backup of your phone's data.
2. Downgrade to android lollipop (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/rom-android-6-0-marshmallow-lg-g4c-t3314927)
3. Unlock the bootloader (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-bootloader-unlocked-t3637155)
4. Flash twrp (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/recovery-twrp-3-1-1-lg-g4c-t3612956)
5. Flash marshmallow (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/twrp-flashable-stock-mm-rom-g4c-t3670765)

6. Flash lineageOS (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-t3668489)

Hello. I am trying to install TWRP so that I can install Lineage OS on my LG G4c. However the aboot file link is dead and the bootloader unlock thread is closed. What should I do? Is there currently a way to install Lineage OS on G4c?

that one worked but to select it you first need to select upgrade then select the kdz then select refurbish

This link leads to marshmallow for LG G4c. It's not the tutorial for downgrading to lollipo, am I wrong?

stuck on twrp recovery bootloop

i was using resurrection remix os i tried to reset my phone but it got stuck into twrp bootloop and i am unable to go to the download mode as well any help will be appreciated thanks
