Hi
I just tried the devinfo method with no success, as stated before, it rolls back to it original stage, I even change the permissions of devinfo file with read and exwcute only, but the permissions Also rolls back
I purchased a meizu pro 7, spanish model(global model) And I will probably Return it since I purchased Also one meizu pro 7 plus, but if you want, I can accept it a few days in order to get the files needed from the European model.

Thanks!
Hey guys! Now i have the beta-version from "a" but no "g" version!
I have change the devinfo but nothing happend.
Has anyone an idea how i can install the "g" version?
Best regards.
peter

I've got this one working for Pro 7 Plus, model M793Q:

1. Download Flyme 6.7.10.31 beta rom from official chinese Flyme site and put it to your phone's main folder
2. Enter Recovery mode (Volume Up + Power), select "Update firmware" and "Wipe data", then wait until the update is done
3. Download Flyme 6.1.2.0G rom from official site and also put it to your phone just like the chinese rom
4. Enter Recovery mode again and do the same things - select "Update firmware" and "Wipe data", then wait until the update is done
I managed to install Flyme 6.1.2.0G on my Pro7 Plus (China mainland version) following your suggestions. However, I encountered several problem.

1. There is no Google service on my newly installed 6.1.2.0G. I need to install it by the unofficial app found in the Meizu App Store. As I do not trust this method to install google service, I would like to restore to the Chinese version firmware (A version).

2. However, under 6.1.2.0G, I cannot flash any firmware. In the recovery mode, if I try to flash any Chinese version firmware, it says the firmware is too old (I have tried all possible Chinese firmware). If I try to flash 6.1.2.0G, which is the only global firmware I can find, recovery says the firmware is corrupted (it cannot be, as I flashed it successfully following your approach).

3. Then I tried some unofficial method to flash back the Chinese firmware. I tried to root it by using SuperSu, but my phone refused to reboot. I can still get access to the recovery mode, but still I cannot flash any firmware to the phone. Dead end, now the phone bricked.

I am not sure how to solve the problem, and I would like to warn anyone from trying to flash the global firmware in this way. You may get stuck there. But still, I would like to thank T3Rm0 for the clever trick to flash the global version firmware.

Could you please tell which roms have you tried to install exactly?
SuperSU is not working on Plus devices, there should be a post about it.
Also did you check "Wipe data" before flashing?

After I bricked my phone, I have tried the following roms via the recovery mode with wipe data checked (none of them work, with the reason from recovery mode attached after the rom name).

Flyme 6.7.10.31 beta (firmware too old)
Flyme 6.2.0.1A (firmware too old)
Flyme 6.1.2.5A (firmware too old)
Flyme 6.1.2.0G (firmware corrupted)

Hello,
In the end, the store told me that if I open the device, I cannot return it later
Since I purchased the plus version , I have no choice but return it, without accesing the files...
I'm so sorry :(

Have you tried to enter recovery mode and just mark "Wipe data" without flashing anything?
Try to contact meizu service center and tell them that you have tried to flash Flyme 6.1.2.0G from Flyme 6.7.10.31 beta and it stucked in bootloop, probably they will fix your phone for free. The problem is that they can see traces made by SuperSU so if they will notice that they will ask you to pay for repairs :<

Good morning I have a multilingual firmware and google services already installed by the vendor, virtually firmware A turned into a firmware G, would there be a way to extrapolate that firmware from my meizu pro 7 plus to make it accessible to anyone who would like to install it?

hi

---------- Post added at 10:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 PM ----------

has the global version now. Because it's in root, it will not go into the system again, it's just the logo and the truck. The global version I have on my phone now, will not accept any Chinese version, it says it's an old version. You must have a Chinese version that accepts global version. I have done a lot of research online, and global version will not accept the Chinese version. Please help
My phone will not start, but I want to remove root with fastboot, does anyone know how to do that. Or what I can If someone knows how to, please help me

So I spent an entire evening trying to flash my mobile and I did it!

The problem was my mac!

Files seemed to unzip when downloaded so I had to compress them before putting them on the mobile... this was the mistake.
Use a windows laptop/computer. Use the original ZIP file and fingers crossed, it should work :D

Mine is now running the global ROM... sick!

chinese ROM with OTA and all languages

Hi, I will share my experience with you.
I bought a Meizu pro 7 on a Chinese website with a modified custom ROM 6.1.0.2A with french language (my native language). The annoying thing is that i could not update my phone. I had no access to the update menu with this modified version of the ROM. And I did not have access to all the settings including the secondary display.
So first i tried to download the last version of the international ROM 6.X.X.XG. But it was impossible to update to the A version from the G. Then, i decided to download the last version of the chinese ROM 6.2.0.1A. I copy paste the ZIP file on my Meizu and execute it. The update was a success. But as you know the Chinesse version of the ROM has only 2 languages (chinese and english) and don't have the Playstore and the Google service.

To install the Google service including the Playstore, it's very easy. You have to download the app "Google installer". Go the Meizu Appcenter and type "Gugean" (chinese traduction of google installer) and install the app.
Now you have access to the Google service and the Playstore.

To install your native language, I found an app "MoreLocal 2". This app will allow you to install your native language (french, spanish, deutch etc..). For me I install French language.

So now I had the last version of the Chinese ROM with full function and with OTA update and French language. It's as if I had the international version of the ROM.

I hope it could help some of you
