MetroPCS Fascinate MMS

Ok so this is pretty easy to do.


Root and Use this ROM:

Super Clean D101

First this is for those who already have their Fascinates on MetroPCS.

You internet does not require anything else but the following EVDO Settings in CDMA Workshop:

USER: [email protected]

Pass: 6DigitMSL/SPC


To get the MMS to word simple use the APNs provided.

Use APN Backup and Restore.

Delete the APNs and place the ones here in the SDCard in the folder for APN Backup and restore.

Restore them, reboot, and everything should work.

This should work on the LG Optimus and Samsung Epic as well.

I flash phones for a living and this is how I do it.

Huh, wonder if this would work for the AOSP MMS issues... I might look into the VZW Settings later tonight if I can.

Probably MMS is a completely different issue, but worth checking!

post your results if you could please...Im using Super Clean and right now for some reason everything but the MMS is working lol...

Not sure why this one aint working for me now...

Im going to edit the apns and see if that works...

To be clear: I'm on a fascinate that is still Verizon bound, but the experiment intrigues me. I'll have to pull the data on a Touchwiz rom and compare it to an AOSP. See if there is a change. There is also a few other questions in my head of how the MMS might work as I think of it. It really is just to keep myself busy, and I have little control over my curiosity than I expect any actual results.

Either way I will make sure to post what happens.

I tried editing the apns and no luck dude. I worked on it for a few hours n never got the MMS going. I wonder what the issue is.
