Doesn't the ZS570KL have support for MHL?

I just got a cable which has a USB Type-C end, and a full sized HDMI and USB Type-A on the other end... The TV does recognise that the HDMI is plugged in, and the phone gets 500mAh of power from the TV USB port... But I'm not getting any signal...

I'm interested on getting that working as well... but the fact that ASUS tell us that HDMI through MHL is not supported because of the usb type c connector, doesn't sound like the real reason. Probably not supported at hardware level? :/ I'll look into it ... any one knows what's actually the problem? Thanks

Type-C has nothing to do with it... It's probably the hardware in the phone that doesn't support it...
