With the new stock Android 10, VoWifi works for me (O2, Germany).
The code *#*#869434#*#* disables VoWifi carrier check.
Then you can configure Wlan calling at
phone app -> Settings -> Calling accounts -> [name of provider] -> Wi-Fi Calling

That's great news thanks, I thought they would eventually enable it without root. I haven't been offered the 10 update in UK yet, read that it's buggy? What's it like?

Hi all,

With the new android 10 update, i can disables VoWifi carrier check and modify Wifi call preference in phone app.
Volte is working but not vowifi.
With wireshark i can see a IKE_SA_INIT from my phone to epdg.epc.mnc020.mcc208.pub.3gppnetwork.org when it attemps to contact ISP vowifi
But then a response NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN from the server.
My phone send many encryption method but none chosen i see.

Is there any parameter i can change in the phone?
My firewall doesnt seems to block anything.

Hi

VoWifi doesn't seem to be working for me either. I have the right settings for VoWifi under Phone accounts as described earlier and VoWifi is enabled in *#*#4636#*#* but when I enable airplane mode and Wifi, I get an error message telling me that I need to either disable airplane mode or connect to a wireless network to make a call (the phone is getting a WiFi signal when that message appears).

Vowifi works with airplane mode selected, however I'm pretty sure it didn't when I first enabled it.

Have you selected WiFi preferred in call settings? Maybe that's something to do with it?

My VoWiFi started working with Android 10. I had asked Vodafone UK to enable VoWiFi in their account settings. Now phone indicates WiFi call Vodafone when I disable network.
