Mi Band firmware versions

The latest officially released version - 1.0.6.16 (after update of Mi Fit to 4.0.9)
Previous versions - 1.0.6.12 (after update of Mi Fit to 4.0.8), 1.0.5.56, 1.0.5.55, 1.0.5.48

Changelogs are unknown.

i just brought a Mi Band 4 a few days ago and it came with 1.0.5.55 from factory

unfortunately, i dont saw any change log so i have no idea what are the improvements

Xiaomi is known for not releasing changelogs for new FW versions (except the usual "bug fixes and improvements"), so we can only guess what has been changed.. Maybe someone will notice what's new. For me everything seems to be working fine as before

I found these two files in the data folder of Mi Fit. Per the content it seems to be FW 10.0.5.66 and corresponding resource file. Mi Fit installs FW first and then resources, I would attempt the same approach with N&F, though I'm not sure if it'll work. You might need to extract them and rename to ".bin". Flash at your own risk

New Mi Fit app udpate brought new FW, but it also removed all custom watch faces from Mi Fit and animated watch faces aren't animated anymore. Damn you Xiaomi.

Edit: Watch faces can be still uploaded with N&F app and animations are working as well (just some watch faces need updated json file, the minimum animation speed is "4" now).

No custom firmware at the moment and it is being said that there is a very low chance that there will be any due to security mechanism put in place by Xiaomi. But who knows..

Since Update to 4.0.9 Google Sync (google fit) is not working anymore for me. Can someone confirm this?
And in settings "add account" google fit is missing...

I don't use Google Sync in Mi Fit, but button is there and I can add Google account for sync. Do you by any chance have Chinese version? I've read somewhere that those have issues with Google fit integration.

I have a xiaomi mi 9 with "getapps"-app from xiaomi and this updates the mifit app now to 4.0.9 - maybe in chinese version, so google sync is gone.
I installed now from google play store 4.0.9 and its back again...
Crazy :/
I deactivate now auto-updates in getapps and hope this will not happen again.

Ah, now I recall that this is a well known issue. Only Mi Fit from Google Play store supports Google Fit. Probably some licensing thing or whatnot Glad that you solved it.

Need help for mi band 4

I have a mi band 4 Chinese edition... Now in india mi band 4 has launched.. how i change its Chinese firmware to indian firmware...... That when i rest my mi band 4 it can't show the Chinese language.... And bengali message which comes in phone mi band 4 not show this how to fix it?
