I accidentally flashed my standard global rom with "clean and lock" and now my phone is stuck in recovery bootloop and I cant flash without just clean all. Can anyone help? I also tried to flash TWRP and flash the rom again but it gives me "FAILED (remote: Erase is not allowed in Lock State"

omg tried mi unlock but it says current account is not bound to this device but I cant get in to add my account

Follow this guide to fastboot flash stock MIUI. Make sure you change the flash option to 'clean all' before flashing in step 5
https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2

If viewing the above page on a phone and it's a blank page, use desktop mode in the browser to view the page.

Get the latest fastboot ROM from here
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/raphael/

Make sure you choose a fastboot ROM and that it is the correct region for your phone.

I've the same problem.... After that my phn booted successfully but I noticed some serious issue....

2. Safety net test failed
3. Play store not certified

They will be because of an unlocked bootloader. Nothing to do with the flashing.
If you flash the correct region ROM in the Mi Flash Tool and choose to lock the bootloader, afterwards those problems will be gone again.

At the bottom of the Mi Flash Tool there are 3 radio buttons. Change the selection from the default 'clean all and lock' to 'clean all' before you hit the flash button.

considering i asked this after the fact i used already, althought cts profile false via safety net check phone still says unlocked when booting up, havent tried to reflash as the other night was a nightmare with bootlooping back to twrp every boot. if only there were simple instructions like steps 1-? i understand the issue with twrp being different but i dont understand how it works on some and not the others when the devices are the same?

i just immediately get the error message and nothing else. my phone wouldnt boot, nothing.
i tried it with a new miui 11 image and with an image i found on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/feedback-unlocking-flashing-india-rom-t3955129
any suggestions? i just extracted the files twice so i got the folder, put it in the MiFlash and ERROR.

make sure if your flashing a fastboot rom its ending with tgz format otherwise it wont work!

What are you trying to achieve? What process are you trying to do that you want simple instructions for?
Your earlier post suggested that after flashing MIUI you were left with your bootloader locked. Now you're implying you have other problems, but don't give any details.
Tell us exactly what you are trying to do and what problems you are having and we can then give you relevant information.

I'm having no issues, and no. You missread or I miss typed. I said I didn't know mi flash fastboot roms locked the bootloader. In which I had already flashed my phone bc twrp (flashing a rom) had caused my phone to boot loop to twrp. That's when I used mi flash. And it didn't lock my bootloader. Nor did I check the boxes stated above to ensure miflash doesn't lock the device.

I'm currently rooted, with 12.04 jmix rom, magisk thru twrp (rooted with the advanced tab in twrp with magisk) passing safety net and cts profiles.

The only problem I had was the boot loop bc of twrp. I got that issue fixed before commenting I believe. I was simply stating the fact that if someone tries to flash a fastboot rom using miflash that the file has to end in tgz format otherwise miflash will not flash the files. And that my bootloader didn't lock even tho as stated I didn't uncheck the "lock device" and other boxes someone mentioned to uncheck. My bootloader remained unlocked.

The only problem currently I have is google saying device not certified although I believe this is due to bootloader unlocking, and if I use or install edxposed of any kind it immediately trips safety net issues for google. But no, sorry for confusion. Thank you for responding.

I was only aiming to share my experience as most will likely come here after trying to flash a rom via twrp and get bootlooped and try miflash to fix it. My comment about "ARRGGG I be a pirate" meant if you look at my bookmarks bar in the screenshot of me showing my bootloader being unlocked after using miflash, I'm simply implying ARRGGG about all the "pirating software sites" for games and software.

This happens on my K20 too. Deleting checkpoint causes "flash done" immediately after pressing flash button.

Same issue for me. The xiaomi Mi flash tool really is trash.
I have just extracted the image, opened up a CMD window with admin rights -> cd to the folder where your image with alle these bat files is (flash_all_lock.bat) and start the bat file. This was working fine for me.

Removed this option but now it flashes within a second and succeeds nothing happens ?
You dont need to remove the checkpoint. What it does is to check whether the bootloader locked after flash. Just select clean all. Do not select lock option unless you really want it.

Why you can't write the correct solution? Just go Configuration menu in the program, click on the only one MiFlash Configuration menu and delete the line "Check Point:". Why even so hard answering normal?
