Hi can someone help me to fix my Mi Stick.
I'm experiencing bootloop right now.

I'm recently using the powersource on my TV but tried using the powerbrick but still not resolve my problem.

I have 2 Mi TV Sticks, both from different manufacturers by the look of the remote. Both run well with sept update.
But not after some initial problems. This device has only 1 GB RAM and that is too little without some tweaks.
Also power need is very critical. Use a good USB power source.

For the tweaks look at my page here: https://sites.google.com/site/tweakradje/devices/xiaomi-mi-tv-stick

Cheers
I loved this your page, while isn't what I'm looking for (Root) still cool see a lot of otimizations that can be done easy, thx

Mine does the same, have you found a fix?
What I have heard is that the OTA updates have been stopped due to many update failures.
Users of recently bought sticks have reported higher firmware versions than latest OTA.
Failure is likely related to having HDMI Control ON (CEC).
Hope they solve this problem soon. I never had problems on my sticks updating to latest OTA.

Just for info: new 4K version with AndroidTV 11 is released. Looks the same but has 2GB RAM this time.

Some stream apps on my MI Stick TV are not keeping the login informations. Can you help me to fix this issue? I run almost all commands on the tweak page...

My mistick is having trouble connecting to Wifi! It connects and after a few minutes it loses the connection! I have the old 2020 firmware and it says there are no updates.
I did all the procedures described and ran the script, but I still have problems with Wifi. Sometimes I see that the Mi gets too hot. Can someone help me? @tweakradje

You didn't get PI.1727 yet? Not that it will help much on wifi. Wifi on the stick is not the best I have ever seen. Much room for improvement.
You can try to:
Code:
- disable location mode (it uses wifi too)
- factory reset the wifi on the stick (adb shell service call wifi 59 s16 wlan0)
- reboot your AP/Router
- switch channel on your router or 2.4 to 5 GHz
- try another country code for wifi in global settings (like US)
- if you have first gen (like me) open the case and check the wifi antenna connector
(2nd gen has printed wifi on the pcb I saw somewhere)
That is all I can say about it.
Cheers

I was able to make it work by taking out the carcass and putting a cooler next to it. Now it's working. It gets too hot, so if you turn off the cooler it to.
