i have managed to obtain the chines variant of the beloved Mi3 pisces. it's the one running with a tegra 4 processor.
the phone a few months ago has received has a miui 9 update, then it suddenly started to overwhelmingly heat up even under idle, the phone gets stupidly hot that i actually couldn't hold my phone properly cuz it felt really hot, as in the type that burn your thumb if put it there long enough.
my phone has be rooted and unlocked and is currently running TWRP.
i thought that maybe using a custom rom would fix the problem as i thought that maybe an unstable version of miui 9 was causing the extreme overheating, turns out even that didn't fix the problem. i thought maybe this was kernel problem? or some kind of driver problem.. idk..
if any of you know an answer to this, a little help would be much appreciated or atleast make me know if i'm the only one experiencing this
