I just buy my new mi4c and it has been a week old. But the edge tap is not working.
I buy it from my local retail store and it look like a refurbished one. I dont mind with that as long as it working good.
But finally after sometime i found some problem that make me a little headache, which is edge tap is not working at all. Im not using the feature at all. It just make me a little uncomfortable buying a defected phone and im afraid there will be more problem in the future.
My device is on custom rom 8.2.1.0 eu stable ROM. And flash it right away from my local distributor ROM. i dont remember what ROM was it.
My step to install the custom rom is by rooting it with kingiroot, install flashify, flashing custom recovery and flash the ROM.
It work perfectly except the edge control (edge tap). Ive tried hardware test and everything is pass.
What is the problem with my mi4c? Is it the kernel? Ive never officially update the ROM. So maybe the kernel is untouch and making the edge tap not working properly? Or maybe some apps or setting making the edge tap not working?? Or maybe i got a hardware defect device? If that the case, what is defected? Gyro? Lcd? Btw, What hardware making the edge tap working properly??
