Hi,

I have a Japanese MIB2 High that had an EU conversion, but since then, lots of things aren't right.

Seems there's 0 chance of obtaining the SD image, I do have the option of buying an identical unit.

However, if I install this, Component Protection will activate...

I have a dlink usb and a usb ttl and have already accessed the existing unit over serial.

My question, is it possible to dump all emmc from the identical unit and write these dumps directly to my unit?

As it is, I'm probably gonna have to dump my unit, so nothing lost...

It's possible, but much easier is to do conversion again. You will have to remove CP anyway.

No conversion is possible due my car having virtual cockpit and some Japanese nuances regarding Active Info Display and reversing camera... and ETC reader.
