Well, alrighty then...any last little glimmer of hope has perished. Guess I'll just use my new portable monitor with my laptop instead:

Apparently it can be done with a Galaxy S II, but I'm holding out for a Galaxy S III, which Verizon probably won't release until they've finalized their plan to take away their unlimited data plan from any current customer who decides to upgrade.

i was disappointed too when i looked into this more.. would have been a nice touch .. but then again so would a front camera and more ram and ... well time to get a beasty phone
