Is it necessary to unlock bootloader for the smooth working of recovery in official LP..
Didn't unlocked it before on any roms(kk&Lp)..
no you dont have to, flash recovery using either sp tools or mobile uncle tools reboot to recovery and then reboot device it would ask you that systems tying to flash stock recovery select no and you'll be good.

here there are repartition files ebr1 and ebr2 from another micromax same HW. Should they do the trick? https://www.droidgyan.com/repartition-lollipop-ota/
no it wont work ebr is suppose to be based on size of stock rom as defined in scatter files we have for the stock rom, we get more storage by changing hex values by reducing values from other partitions and increasing user/data partition only pro developers for our device can pull that off such as @alexkool @ariafan @kenzukie.

[Increase app stoarage-
You don't like app storage only 0.9gb? , just follow the steps below-
1.You must be rooted before doing this
2.Download the mprio partition app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2963560&stc=1&d=1412742550
3.Install the app and open it, read the warning and press agree
4.Choose desired partition and then wipe /data in recovery]

App works fine and won't take space too.

The recorvery is not working for me. If I flashed it per SP Tools and restart the phone I can only open it one time, after that stock recovery comes up again.
