microSDHC 16GB?

Will i need higher than class 2 microsd card to support HD recording on the DHD something like ultra high speed class 6 microsd card for better access speed?

Though im not sure if class 6 is supported on the DHD. if anyone can shed a light on this is greatly appriciated.

As they provide a Class2 card with the phone and advertise 720p video recording, the Class2 standard is apparently enough. This is just a guess, but I strongly think that DHD supports Class6.

It's enough cause we are talking here of a phone that has plenty internal memory to buffer data when you are recording stuff in 720p!!! Class 6 or 10 are needed on digital cameras or digital video cameras cause they usually don't have such huge internal memory to buffer data while recording...
Basically we are talking DHD as almost a computer in these particularly case

something else to consider is transferring anything to your phone or back again to a pc or mac. A class 2 card will be much slower than a class 6 or even a class 10.

I just thought I would check what Class my N97s Micro SD card was and it is a class 6 8GB, so that should keep me going for a bit.

Its pretty rubbish that when people are pay £500 for a phone, that they ship it with pretty old technology micro SD card.

i've placed an order for one of this for £23.00 through amazon. Doube the capacity and in theory speed than the sd cards the came with my DHD

please post what micro sd card you are using and how you are finding it on the DHD, just so we can see which works the best.

the reason i ask is because I am thinking about getting a bigger micro sd, but not sure what to go for!

Its rated as a Class 4 card but I have actually obtained steady transfer rates of 6.5 MB/s and even at times up to 10 MB/s with it whilst copying across large files from my PC to the phone via USB.
